The Salt Box & Chow Time

The Saltbox are a couple of sustainably-minded cooks dedicated to curating unique and unforgettable feasts over fire and cookery workshops in their woodland glen nestled in the beautiful Surrey hillside.

Partnering up with The Salt Box, we collaborated on and released the YouTube series ‘Fire, Smoke & Iron’ - 'Explore Britains wild larder and discover forgotten ingredients as Beckie & Christian share some of their incredible recipes all cooked over fire'.

For this series we handled all aspects of the production process; from collaborating on tasty menus with our talented chef, that would not only leave audiences hungry for more, but were also hand-picked optimised with youtube reach in mind, right down to the technical aspects - designing set, lighting, creative concepts and editing the series together with tasty sizzle shots and punchy branded graphics.

We jam-packed some tight filming schedules to ensure we could shoot multiple episodes per each filming day. We utilised a few different setups and locations, making sure that each video instalment featured a wild foraging chapter, to help online communities learn about the great outdoors and accessing wild ingredients.

On shoot days we also captured photography and an abundance of short-form video content in multiple resolutions and formats, to ensure the Chow Time and The Salt Box brands could utilse this well-stocked content library, in order to grow and flourish their social media platforms, engaging followers whilst promoting the series.
